Top Poppers
Whoa there! Looks like someone got a little excited! Top poppers happen when there is a drastic increase in pressure inside the can. Whether that pressure is from an over filled can in pasteurizer, the nitrogen doser is comin in hot, or someone set the pallet on a loading dock in direct sun.
Order Of Operations:
If the tops are bubbling up as they come out of the pasteurizer, assess the fill level of the cans.
Double check the carb level of the product.
If you are using a liquid nitrogen doser, decrease dosage duration.
If the product is increasing in temp drastically after the seam process, like going from bright tank to sitting in direct sunlight, you will also experience this issue.
