Snift Quick Connect

At the end of the fill cycle, the snift vents the remaining pressure from the can to bring it back to atmosphere. If that connection is leaking during the fill cycle, we have opened ourselves up to the chance of pulling oxygen into the can and greatly increasing our DO level, much less a consistent fill level due to the pressure difference. Follow the walkthrough of how to replace the fitting here

Symptoms:


  1. Leaking around the fitting during fill cycle.

  2. Higher DO on that fill head.

  3. Inconsistent foam on that fill head.

As a side note when changing the snift quick connect, DO NOT REMOVE THE BRASS FITTING.

Only the rubber O-ring and plastic quick connect are swapped
