Motors

Call me Lemmy, cause I have a Motorhead! Unless of course the main seal is leaking, or it was wired incorrectly. Triple check your connections, and be cautious of rotation!

Symptoms:

  1. Running hot to the touch

  2. Turning the wrong direction

    1. Swap 2 legs

  3. Funky ass smell coming from motor

  4. High pitched wine coming from motor

  5. VFD showing a consistent OLF or OPF fault code

  6. Change in behavior

  7. Poor connection of an incoming leg

    1. Water in the connection box

    2. Loose wire nut or Wago clip
